After school today I went to Martas place to eat nachos, and have what we call in danish "hygge". They love that word!

290810 Paperdress inspired by Alexander McQueen

For the group presentation yesterday my group also made a paperdress. The dress was design by me, and the inspiration was of course our main designer, Alexander McQueen.

I think we did a great job, and the result became just like I had in my mind ^^,

Of course we didn´t make a dress so it could just stand there when we had our presentation. Had to do something more interesting than that! We were inspired by Alexander McQueen SS 1999 show where a model with a paperdress got painted by two robots. Here is the video:

To make it more interesting, we had a competition between the judges. The person who threw the shots (with paint) with the shortest time won a price. I think they enjoyed it :) Here is the painted result:

This dress is my own design for the TEKO project, and the design is inspired by Alexander McQueen SS 2010 collection :)

This is the second dress I ever made in my life in real fabrics. Well the first dress I made, I never finished.. haha!

270812 New life in Denmark

Dear readers
I´m really sorry that I haven´t been updating my blog. I just changed to blogspot.dk. 

I´ve been really busy. But now things have settled down.I started at Teko two weeks ago, and this is my third week. I´m totally in love with my new school!!! Everything is so big, comparing to my previous school, Esmod Oslo. The school have five buildings. 

Lately I´ve been working on a team project about contemporary designers. My group have chosen; Chanel, Donna Karan, Comme des Garcons and Alexander McQueen. I´m going to have my presentation tomorrow!!! Wish me good luck <3 ^^

Oh, I have also found a dance team! We don´t have a name yet, but everybody is dope! They are so funny! I´m really happy that I could continue dancing here. At first I was thinking to just keep focus on fashion. But when I think about it, I would probably gone mad if I just had that in my mind 24/7. Fashion is crazy! Need something to calm me down sometimes; and dancing is exactly the solution :)

Last week I went to Aarhus to dance. It is 1h away from Herning. But we went there by car, so was not that tiring.

My team is gonna perform at a nightclub called Crazy Daisy on friday :) If you live in Herning, make sure you be there ;)

Today my team had rehearsal at Crazy Daisy. It was a bit tiring cause I forgot to eat. But the staff members liked the show, and they also gave us some critics on few things we could work on. 

Now I have to go.
